NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Authorities released photos on Wednesday of four suspects wanted for beating and slashing a man at a Knicks watch party near Madison Square Garden in Midtown last week.
According to the police, a 24-year-old man was standing at the intersection near 7th Avenue and West 33rd Street at approximately 9:20 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, when the attack took place.
The victim was approached by the group who then began punching and kicking him. During the attack, one of the suspects repeatedly slashed him across his face and neck.
Following the attack, the entire group fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
EMS responded to the location and rushed the man to NYC Health+Hospitals/Bellevue, where he was treated for his injuries and listed in stable condition.
Sources say the attack took place during an outdoor watch party near Madison Square Garden for Game 1 against the Cavaliers.
