The two women—a 53-year-old and 36-year-old—were inside a home at Mayfair Road and 116th Street in Kew Gardens at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, when the home invaders forced their way inside.

They used tape to tie up the women and then stole jewelry, purses, clothing and other items that had a combined value of $1,105,000, police said.

The five thieves and a getaway driver fled in a white 2021 Toyota RAV4, according to the NYPD.

The women were not physically injured, police said.
