
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Five students were arrested after a massive brawl over someone “disrespecting” another person broke out at the High School for Law Enforcement and Public Safety in Queens.
Police were called in around 11:52 a.m. on Wednesday, after a large number of students joined in the melee at the South Jamaica high school, which coordinates with the NYPD to facilitate careers in law enforcement.
One student was cut on the face during the lawless brawl, but police did not recover any weapons.
The fight broke out on the fifth floor of the school. Police were alerted after a concerned mother called 911 claiming some students wanted to fight her son.
Five students were brought to the 113th Precinct building, but no charges have been filed as of yet.
