
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are searching for five suspects who they say attacked a septuagenarian couple on a Chinatown street this week.
The NYPD released images Friday of the five males they're after in the attack on a 79-year-old man and 75-year-old woman at Canal and Lafayette streets on Wednesday afternoon.
The victims were in front of a building at 2 p.m. when the group approached and knocked the woman to the ground, causing injuries to her head, neck and torso, police said.

They then knocked down the man, causing injuries to his back and left ankle, according to cops.
The woman was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, while the man was taken to NYU Langone Health. Both were in stable condition.
The suspects fled on foot eastbound on Canal Street, police said.
