NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Six people were slashed in a Brooklyn home early Sunday morning, and police are searching for two suspects in the assault, the NYPD said.
Shortly after 6 a.m., police responded to the slashing scene at a home near Fane Court and Everett Avenue in Gerritsen Beach.
Upon arrival, officers found six people suffering from injuries sustained in the slashing. A 16-year-old girl was slashed in the arm, a 19-year-old boy in the hand, a 29-year-old woman in the hand, a 30-year-old woman in the face and a 37-year-old man in the face.
The final victim, another man in his 30s, was slashed in the neck and wrist.
The victims were transported to different area hospitals in stable condition, police said.
It was not immediately clear the relationship between the victims or whether they all lived in the home, and the motive for the attack is not yet known.
Police said they are searching for two men in connection to the incident.
