6 people injured in Bronx building fire: FDNY

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Six people were injured in a fire at a residential building in the Marble Hill section of the Bronx Saturday afternoon, fire officials confirmed.

Authorities said that just after 1:30 p.m. Saturday a fire broke out on the second floor of 104 Terrace View Ave., near Adrian Ave.

Video of the incident showed black smoke funneling out of a second-story window, and fire personnel on the roof.

Firefighters were able to get the blaze under control by 2:30 p.m., the FDNY said.

The fire caused six injuries, none of which were life-threatening, officials said.

The cause of the fire was not immediately clear, and fire marshals are investigating.
