WESTBURY, N.Y. (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Six people were shot and injured while at a party at a Westbury house on Friday night, and the Nassau County Police Department’s Gang Investigation Squad is investigating.

At 10:45 p.m., Nassau police responded to a residence on Pepperidge Road in Westbury for reports of shots fired, officials said.

Officers discovered that six people were shot, all of which sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities said that the victims were transported to local hospitals in stable condition.

Police said that the shooting appeared to have happened at a party.

According to Pix11, five of the six victims were minors and police are searching for multiple suspects.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately clear.

Gang squad detectives are involved in the investigation, which is ongoing.

There have been no arrests.
