8 students hurt during evacuation over bomb threat at Bronx school

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Eight students were hurt during a school evacuation at a Bronx school due to a bomb threat on Tuesday, authorities said.

The incident happened at Cardinal Spellman High School located at Cardinal Spellman Place in Edenwald.

According to officials, the students suffered minor injuries during the evacuation.

Authorities said the school received a threatening phone call from an unidentified person. Police searched the school and determined the threat was not credible.
