NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police said that an infant was found in critical condition in the Bronx on Saturday evening.
The 9-month-old baby girl was found when officers responded to 218 Bush St., located between Grand Concourse and Anthony Avenue in Mt. Hope, shortly after 5 p.m.
Sources told 1010 WINS that the baby's 45-year-old father called 911 regarding her condition.
EMS rushed the child to BronxCare Health System.
The cause of the child's injuries was not immediately clear.
The investigation is ongoing.
