NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Alex Rodriguez reportedly just purchased a $9.9 million for a Manhattan co-op for which he was initially denied for by the building’s board.

Rodriguez, 46, purchased the three-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bathroom unit located on Central Park West from real estate developer Jordan Vogel.

The co-op is "the crown jewel of famed architect Emery Roth," according to the property listing, "and one of the most prestigious addresses in the entire city."

The stylish digs feature a 500-square-foot living room with views of Central Park and a wood-burning fireplace.

A source told the New York Post that the former Yankees player was initially denied because the board did not want someone with A-Rod’s “reputation.”

The listing was held by Roberto Cabrera with Brown Harris Stevens.

Rodriguez previously shared another Manhattan penthouse with then-fiance Jennifer Lopez.
