PHOTO: Merry Christmas from the Baldwins – Alec, Hilaria pick up tree with kids in Manhattan

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Baldwin went shopping for a Christmas tree this week in Manhattan with their six kids, and the outing appears to have inspired the family's holiday card.

"We got a nyc Christmas tree," Hilaria captioned a photo of the family at what appears to be a Christmas tree lot. "Possible holiday card photo??? We aren’t all looking, but gang’s all here. candy cane and all." (Alec and one of his sons appear to the only ones looking at the camera).

The outing consisted of their kids Leonardo, Carmen, Eduardo, Romeo, Lucia and Rafael.

In the photo, the Baldwins -- with the exception of Alec -- are bundled up in puffy jackets. Four of the kids are enjoying a candy cane, while two of them are in strollers.

The public outing comes as the investigation into the shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the New Mexico set of "Rust" continues. Last week Alec gave an interview to ABC News, during which he claimed that he never actually pulled the trigger of the gun that killed Hutchins.
