NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Mayoral candidate Andrew Yang paid the iconic West 4 Street basketball courts a visit Wednesday afternoon as he continues to campaign for the June 22 Democratic primary.
A video that captured the 46-year-old struggle to make a basket at the West Village court was posted to social media where Yang became the butt of many jokes.
In one of the videos, his first shot bounces off the rim and is seen grappling with the basketball as he attempts to dribble the ball.
Someone can be heard yelling "good shot" before Yang shoots and misses a jump shot.
"There's an intense argument going on today between people who think Andrew Yang is bad at basketball and people who are wrong," Mike Yarbrough wrote on Twitter.
