NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Bill de Blasio is no longer mayor of New York City, and Andy Cohen didn't hold back in celebrating it.

Cohen once again joined Anderson Cooper to host CNN’s New Year’s Eve coverage from Times Square, which is always good for a viral moment or two every year.

This time around, Cohen and Cooper traded shots just minutes after 2022 began. Cohen then put down his shot glass and unloaded on the term-limited mayor, who has not too far away, dancing with is wife.

“The only thing Democrats and Republicans can agree on, is what horrible mayor [de Blasio] has been!” Cohen shouted.

Cooper stood by trying to stop his co-host from broadcasting his feelings on the outgoing mayor, but had no luck.

“Don’t go on a rant!” Cooper said, after originally wanting to hear what Andy had to say, before knowing what it was going to be about. “That’s how you want to start the new year?”

“Let me tell you something,” Cohen said. “Watching Mayor de Blasio do his victory lap dance, after four years of the crappiest job as the mayor of New York!”

“So … Sayonara, sucka! 2022! It’s a new year!” Cohen continued as Cooper tugged on his jacket.

Cohen checked in on Twitter just before 8 a.m.

“Um, I was a bit overserved last night….” he said.

Cohen isn't new to roasting de Blasio on the air -- he compared Cooper's negative reaction to taking a shot on last year's New Year's show to having to watch de Blasio dance.

"I just don't need to see that ... do something with this city!" he exclaimed. "Honestly, get it together!"
