NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is looking to identify two armed suspects who duct-taped a man during a violent carjacking and home invasion robbery in Queens early Wednesday, authorities said.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:35 a.m. when the suspects entered the home of a 43-year-old man located in the vicinity of 70th Road and 137th Street in the Kew Gardens neighborhood, police said.
The suspects each displayed firearms which they used to strike the victim on his head, the NYPD said.
According to officials, the suspects then duct-taped the victim and removed his debit card, car keys, vehicle titles, personal papers, and his 2014 Mercedes Benz.
The victim suffered swelling, abrasions, and cuts to his head and went privately to an area hospital for treatment in stable condition.
