NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man facing eviction went rogue Wednesday, barricading himself in his Brooklyn apartment and reportedly dual wielding axes in each hand in a standoff with police.

The eviction-turned-emergency began around 11 a.m. on Kingstone Avenue, just south of Empire Boulevard, in Crown Heights as a marshal tried to evict the man, police said.

The tenant refused to leave and armed himself, according to cops.

There are reports he armed himself with an axe in each hand, though police weren’t immediately able to confirm the weapon he had.

The man was still barricaded inside his apartment as of midday, with the NYPD’s Emergency Services Unity called to the scene.
