Armed men in Bronx home invasion return to demand more money: NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for two armed suspects wanted in connection to a home invasion robbery that occurred last month in the Bronx.

At approximately 5 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6, two suspects gained entry inside of an apartment located at 275 Balcom Ave. in Throgs Neck, officials said.

Once inside, the suspects displayed firearms and demanded property from the 32-year-old and 26-year-old female occupants of the apartment.

The suspects stole an iPhone, jewelry, hand bags, wallets and two credit cards. The reported total value of stolen property is approximately $1,000, the NYPD said.

The suspects fled the location but later returned and demanded cash from the victims.

Police said they were unsuccessful in obtaining any money and fled the location again to parts unknown.

No injuries were reported.

The first suspect is described as a man approximately 30-years-old, 5'5" tall, 150 pounds, with a light complexion, and slim build. He was last seen wearing a black face mask, a gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black sneakers.

The second suspect is described as a man approximately 30-years-old, 5'8" tall, 160 pounds, with a medium complexion, slim build, last seen wearing a white face mask, a black hooded sweatshirt, red shorts and white sneakers.
