NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 28-year-old man was arrested Thursday for stealing a pickup truck and crashing into multiple vehicles as he drove away through the Lower East Side, according to the NYPD.
Brian Chacon was arrested at the intersection of South Street and Montgomery Street around 6:30 p.m., authorities said.
A video posted on Twitter shows a police officer punching the suspect in the face while Chacon holds his arms across his chest in an attempt to prevent his wrists from being handcuffed.
