NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Police are searching for a suspect after a woman was kicked in the face on a Queens subway train last Friday in a suspected anti-white hate crime that left her with a concussion.
The NYPD released an image of the female suspect over the weekend as the department's Hate Crime Task Force investigates the unprovoked assault.
The 28-year-old victim was riding a Flushing-bound 7 train approaching the 69th Street station in Woodside around 7:30 a.m. when another woman kicked her in the face, police said.
The attacker then cursed at the woman and hurled "racial slurs" at her, according to cops.
Law enforcement sources told the Daily News that the assailant called the victim a "stupid f***ing white b***h" during the assault.
The suspect, who's believed to be in her 30s, left the train at the 69th Street station and got on the next Flushing-bound train, police said.
The victim suffered a mild concussion and bruising, according to police. She declined further medical attention at the scene.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
