
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police are looking to identify a man accused of spitting on a man then punching him in the face on a Queens bus last week, authorities said.
At approximately 8:22 a.m. on Tuesday, April 9, a 71-year-old man was exiting a Q64 bus at the corner of 108th Street and Queens Boulevard in Forest Hills when the suspect initiated a verbal dispute with the victim.
The suspect then spat and struck the victim in the face, causing a cut under the left eye and bruising to the face area, officials said.
The attacker fled on foot towards the 71st Avenue train station to parts unknown.
The victim was transported to New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital in stable condition.
The suspects was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, brown boots, and a gray scarf.
