NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Divers searched for a man who witnesses said jumped into the frigid East River off Manhattan on Saturday night.
Police told the Daily News that they received reports of the man jumping into the waterway from the E. 34th Street ferry dock in Midtown around 5:50 p.m.

Boats and divers from the FDNY and NYPD, as well as a police helicopter, were involved in the search for the man, according to the report.
Citizen App video shows boats and divers in the water and emergency crews nearby.
The search was said to be ongoing into Saturday evening, even after the divers had left the water. It's unclear if the man was found by Sunday.
