NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A subway rider was menaced by bat-wielding robbers on a train in the Bronx this week, police said Thursday as they released images of two suspects.
The 30-year-old victim was on a northbound 6 train at the Cypress Avenue station in Mott Haven around 3:50 a.m. Monday when the pair ganged up on him, according to police.

They threatened him with the bat and then "demanded all of his property," police said.
He complied, handing over his valuables and his bicycle to the duo.

The suspects fled the train at the next stop at East 143rd Street–St. Mary's Street.
The victim went to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln as a precaution but was not physically injured, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
