
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The FDNY and NYPD are set for an epic battle of the badges charity baseball game hosted by the New York Mets at Citi Field next Thursday night, the team announced Wednesday.

Sponsored by the Mets and Ford, organizers said the game start at 7:10 p.m. with a general admission of $20, with all proceeds from the game benefitting FDNY and NYPD charities.
Pete Alonso will be donating a pair of signed cleats to be auctioned, with proceeds benefitting FDNY and NYPD charities.
Each team will consist of former high school, college and minor league baseball players that are now members of FDNY or NYPD.
It will also feature a special appearance by Mets catcher James McCann, and there will be an NYPD flyover prior to the game.
