NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A bicyclist was fatally struck by an occupied yellow school bus Thursday afternoon in Brooklyn, authorities said.
At about around 3:15 p.m., the 44-year-old man was riding on Fort Hamilton Parkway in Borough Park in the same direction as the bus when the bus turned onto 41st Street, striking the cyclist, officials said.
There were about 20 girls from a local yeshiva on the bus at the time of the crash.
The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver stayed at the scene. No arrests have been reported as police investigate the crash.
