NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Ahead of three sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden and a performing stint on "Saturday Night Live" this weekend, Billie Eilish’s team and American Express are hosting a SoHo pop-up shop with New York City-exclusive merchandise, and it will be open through Saturday, Oct. 20.
The shop—a blue-hued space with photoshoot images, videos and references to Eilish’s newest album, “Hit Me Hard and Soft”—is lined with racks of t-shirts, hooded sweatshirts, long sleeves, and includes some more specialty items like vinyls and shoelaces.
“Most of it comes from Billie herself, and all of her artwork, and all these beautiful photoshoots that she does,” Riley Leonard, a member of the pop-up production team, told 1010 WINS. “We tried to capture this moody, dark vibe of her new album, and you can see her album cover is featured prominently in a few spaces, so it’s kind of that. Just following the music and the art that she kind of wanted us to focus on for that.”

Fans came flooding in on Wednesday morning, the shop’s opening, with American Express cardholders getting an hour jump on the hundreds of people waiting in line, and a free exclusive poster with purchase.
Cardholders and a guest are allowed into the 105 Wooster St. location at 11 a.m. through Oct. 20, while the rest of the masses are allowed access from 12 p.m. through 7 p.m.
Anthony and Natalie, who flew in from Costa Rica on Tuesday, traveled to attend one of Eilish’s shows, their first time seeing the artist live. They quickly purchased a vinyl version of “Hit Me Hard and Soft” and several clothing items.
“We’ve been trying to travel every time we see a concert we like, and this time I think she got an email [saying] ‘hey, you guys are able to buy the tickets,’ and then we’ve been planning the trip like around the actual concert,” Anthony told 1010 WINS while waiting in line for the photo booth.

Keira Fallon flew in for Wednesday’s show and was waiting for pop-up entry to with her friend Ethan Rodriguez, a student at Pace University. The two gushed over their love of Eilish, their desire to see a cameo from her songwriting partner Finneas at one of this week’s NYC engagements, and Rodriguez’s attempt to get SNL tickets.
“I’ve seen her twice, so tonight’s my third time, but I love everything about what she does,” Rodriguez said.
