NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A Brooklyn man was arraigned Tuesday in the alleged kidnapping and sexual assault of a 13-year-old boy who was walking home from school, Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez said.

“This was a chilling assault of an innocent child making his way home from school in broad daylight," D.A. Gonzalez said. "Thankfully this brave young victim survived this horrific attack and was able to lead police to his alleged assailant, who we will now seek to bring to justice.”

The 32-year-old East Flatbush man, Christopher Fiesco, approached the boy on May 2 around 3:50 p.m. around Winthrop Street and East 98th Street in East Flatbush, authorities said.

In a full ski mask, Fiesco allegedly grabbed the boy’s arm and asked him for the time. After the victim tried to leave, Fiesco allegedly threatened him with a knife, told him not to scream and took him to a building at 87 East 53rd Street, officials said.

According to police, Fiesco forced the boy to climb a fire escape and go into an apartment through the window. He then made the victim shower before repeatedly sexually assaulting him. He then let the child leave.

The victim went home and reported the incident to his family who called 911, police said.

Fiesco was arrested days later on May 6th and faces multiple charges of kidnapping and sexually abusing a child. He is being held without bail and will return to court on August 10.
