NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 35-year-old woman's body was found floating in the East River off a heliport in Lower Manhattan Friday morning, according to officials.
The woman was discovered just after 7 a.m. fully clothed near the South Street heliport, the NYPD said.
She was pronounced dead on scene, authorities said.
The cause of her death was not immediately known and an investigation is underway.
