NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Dismembered pieces of a man’s body were found in a trash bag in front of a Brooklyn apartment Friday morning, according to multiple reports.

Police said that officers responded to the scene on East 21st Street in Flatbush around 9:15 a.m. and found an “unidentified, unconscious and unresponsive male with trauma to the body.”

The man’s head and torso were discarded in a trash bag that was left in front of the building shortly before police arrived, according to NBC New York.

ABC7 reported that police are searching for the victim's roommate—and possibly boyfriend—for questioning after the building’s superintendent saw him taking out the garbage.

Police remained on the scene Friday evening. No other information was released.

There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
