NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Bomb threats targeting three different locations were made to New York University Thursday evening, causing large-scale evacuations.
According to NYU's Twitter account, the threats were made for the Stern School of Business, located on West 4th Street, Center for Neural Science, which is just steps away on Washington Place and Hebrew Union College, which is an independent institution also located on West 4th Street.
An additional location, Hayden Hall, was also evacuated.
According to school officials, police responded to the campus, and buildings were successfully evacuated. After an NYPD investigation, cops gave the "all clear" and allowed students and faculty to return to the affected areas.
Several universities have been hit with bomb threats in previous days, including Yale University last week and fellow Ivy League schools Columbia, Cornell and Brown this week.
At similar times Thursday night, the University of Southern California and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology were also dealing with evacuations from bomb threats.
