1-year-old boy hospitalized after falling from Queens balcony

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 1-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday after he fell from a balcony in Queens, police said.

He fell from a second-floor balcony at 72-40 52nd Ave. in Maspeth at about 3:30 p.m., officials said.

The child was found unconscious and in critical condition.

Medics rushed him to NewYork-Presbyterian / Weill Cornell Medical Center where he is now stable, authorities said.

No further information was released. An investigation is ongoing.
