NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police are investigating after a 12-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting inside a Bronx barbershop Tuesday afternoon, according to the NYPD.
The shooting happened at about 1:30 p.m. in the vicinity of Hone Avenue and East Tremont Avenue in Claremont Village.
The boy was struck in the left hand and transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem.
The gunman fled in an unknown direction. No arrests have been made and an investigation remains ongoing.
