NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 13-year-old boy on a moped was critically injured early Tuesday in a collision with an MTA bus on Staten Island, police said.

The moped and the bus collided at Castleton and Park avenues in Port Richmond around 1 a.m., according to the NYPD.

The teen was rushed to Richmond University Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition with a head injury.

Four people on the bus—an operator and three passengers—weren’t injured in the crash.

The NYPD investigated the crash throughout the night, though a cause remained unclear Tuesday.
