Boy, 14, stabbed in head on Bronx bus, suspect sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 14-year-old boy was stabbed in the head on a city bus in the Bronx, police said Monday as they released video of a suspect.

Video shows the suspect aboard the Bx8 bus around the time of the stabbing last Friday afternoon.

The victim was riding the bus around 4:30 p.m. in the area of East Gun Hill Road and Bronxwood Avenue in Williamsbridge when he was attacked.

The suspect—disguised with a mask, hoodie and sunglasses—stabbed the boy in the left side of his head, police said.

The victim suffered a head laceration and was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition.

The suspect fled the bus on foot, the NYPD said. No potential motive for the attack was released by police.
