NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A 15-year-old boy is in police custody after four students were slashed during a fight inside a Staten Island high school on Monday morning, authorities said.
According to police, four students were slashed at about 9:45 a.m., at Port Richmond High School on St. Josephs Avenue.
An 18-year-old boy was slashed in the face, a 17-year-old boy was slashed on the lip, and two other boys, ages 16 and 17, were slashed on the hand.
Two of the students were transported to Richmond University Medical Center for treatment, and two refused medical attention, officials said.
The 15-year-old boy taken into custody and has not yet been charged, police said.
An investigation is ongoing.
