NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a suspect after a teen boy was shot at a NYCHA housing complex in Brooklyn Thursday afternoon.
It happened just before 5 p.m. at the Albany houses located at at 1414 Bergen St. in Crown Heights.
The 16-year-old boy was shot in the leg, according to officials.
The teen was transported to Kings County Hospital where he is expected to survive.
The suspect was a male wearing all black and fled on foot, cops said.
An investigation is ongoing.
