NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a masked gunman after a 16-year-old boy was shot in the chest near Rockaway Beach on Wednesday night.
The shooting occurred at approximately 8:24 p.m. in the vicinity of 133 Beach 56th Street.
The boy was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he is currently listed in stable condition.
According to officials, the suspect is a man who was last seen wearing a black ski mask.
There have been no arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
