NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 17-year-old boy was stabbed to death on a Bronx street Wednesday afternoon, police said.
The victim, identified as Bronx resident Jonathan Melo, was stabbed around 4:30 p.m. in front of 1337 Beach Ave. in Soundview.
NYPD officers responding to a 911 call found him with a stab wound to the back, police said.
EMS rushed him in critical condition to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was pronounced dead.
As of Thursday, no arrests had been reported in the killing.
