NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is searching for a gunman after a teen boy was shot in Bushwick Tuesday afternoon.
At approximately 2:22 p.m., police received a report of a person shot at 140 Menahan St., authorities said.
Upon arrival, officials discovered the teen, who had been shot once in his lower back.
The boy was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst and is expected to survive.
Police are searching for a male suspect who was dressed in all black and wearing a face mask. He fled on foot in an unknown direction.
The investigation remains ongoing.
