NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a dirt bike driver that struck and critically injured a 4-year-old boy during a hit-and-run in Queens on Sunday night.
The incident happened in a parking lot near the boathouse at Flushing Meadows Corona Park shortly before 6 p.m., officials said.
The boy was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
Officials said the child suffered severe trauma to his head and body.
A description of the driver has not yet been released by the NYPD.
So far, no arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
