NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 9-year-old boy died after being pulled from a house fire in Queens on Sunday morning, officials said.
The fire broke out on Hillmeyer Avenue, near Beach 69th Street, in the Arverne neighborhood of the Rockaways around 6:25 a.m.

The boy was critically injured and later died at St. John's Hospital, officials said.
Three other people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Officials said more than 100 firefighters responded to the two-alarm fire before it was brought under control just before 7:30 a.m. Citizen App video shows dozens of firefighters at the home.
Sources said the fire appears to be suspicious but that the investigation is ongoing. The boy had trauma to his body when he was pulled from the fire, according to multiple reports.
Police said the Fire Marshall will determine the cause of the fire.
