NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A one-year-old boy is in critical condition after being struck by an SUV in Brooklyn Thursday afternoon, according to the FDNY.
The boy ran into the street and was struck by a Ford Expedition near the intersection of 59th Street and 12th Avenue around 3:20 p.m.
He was taken to Maimonides Medical Center in Borough Park, while the driver of the SUV stayed at the scene.
The NYPD and FDNY are investigating.
