NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A 15-year-old boy was beaten by a group on a Bronx bus last week in an assault that left him hospitalized in serious condition, police said Friday.
New photos from the NYPD show the male and female suspects being sought in the Aug. 2 attack aboard a BX36 bus in East Tremont.
The teen was on the bus at 10 p.m. when the group ganged up on him, punching and kicking him repeatedly all over his body, police said.
EMS responded and transported him to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was listed in serious but stable condition.
None of his belongings were stolen during the attack, police said, and it’s unclear what the motive may have been.
The suspects were last seen fleeing into Crotona Park, according to cops.
