NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A man was attacked with a brick as two-moped riding thieves robbed him on a Brooklyn street, police said Thursday as they released an image of one suspect.

The 40-year-old victim was in the area of Hale and Arlington avenues in Cypress Hills shortly after 3 a.m. last Thursday when the suspects rode up, pointed guns at him and demanded his moped, police said.

A struggle ensued, and one of the muggers threw a brick into the victim's chest, according to cops.

The pair stole the victim's keys and fled on the two scooters, police said. They were last seen headed northbound on Hale Avenue.

The victim suffered minor injuries and declined further medical attention at the scene.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
