NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A robber armed with a brick beat a man and stole his wallet in the Bronx last week, police said.
The NYPD released images Wednesday of the suspect they’re after in connection with last Friday’s robbery in Allerton.
The 38-year-old victim was standing in front of a residence at 2514 Barnes Ave. just before 3:30 a.m. when the suspect struck him with the brick, police said.
The thief hit him multiple times with the brick before stealing the wallet from his pants, according to police.
The suspect fled on foot with the wallet, which contained $300, police said.
The victim was transported to Jacobi Medical Center in stable condition.
