Bronx collision sends BMW into parked cars and pedestrian, killing 60-year-old man

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — An overnight collision in the Bronx sent a BMW crashing into a group of parked cars and a pedestrian, killing a 60-year-old man, police said.

Just after midnight, a 24-year-old man driving a BMW collided with a pick-up truck at the intersection of Eastchester Road and Givan Avenue in Laconia.

The crash then caused the motorist to ram into four other unoccupied, parked cars, and one pedestrian, police said.

The 60-year-old victim was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi where he was pronounced dead.

There have been no arrests and an investigation is ongoing.
