NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Friday released photos of a hit-and-run scooter rider wanted for critically injuring a woman last week in the Bronx.
At approximately 1:14 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 23, a, a 71-year-old woman was walking eastbound on Burnside Avenue approaching Jerome Avenue in University Heights when she was struck by a suspect that was driving a white electric two-wheel motorized vehicle heading northbound on Jerome Avenue.
The driver fled the scene northbound on Jerome Avenue.

The victim sustained injuries to her head and face EMS transported her to Saint Barnabas Hospital in critical condition.
The scooter driver was last seen wearing a light blue hooded sweatshirt, white sneakers and black sweatpants.
