NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A Bronx man was killed and a bystander was wounded in a shooting in upper Manhattan early Wednesday morning, police said.

Roberto Perez, 30, was riding his motorcycle at the intersection of Ninth Avenue and W. 207th Street in Inwood around 1:15 a.m. when he was shot in the torso, according to police.

Perez was rushed to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he died.

A 24-year-old man—who told police he was just walking by at the time—was grazed in the head by a bullet, police said.

The bystander walked himself into a BronxCare center, where he was treated.

Police are investigating the motive for the shooting.

No arrests have been reported.
