NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Monday released surveillance footage of two moped-riding thieves accused of snatching a gold chain from a woman's neck in the Bronx earlier this month.
It happened just after 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11, when a 29-year-old woman was walking in front of 2781 Third Ave. in Mott Haven, authorities said.
According to officials, two men were riding a black moped and approached the victim then grabbed the gold chain from her neck.
The suspects then fled northbound on Courtlandt Avenue to parts unknown.
The value of the gold chain is approximately $500, the NYPD said.
Police believe the suspects to be approximately 18 to 25 years of age.
