NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A multi-agency strike team raided an apartment in the Bronx’s Mount Hope Neighborhood on Monday night in which law enforcement confiscated over 250 pounds of narcotics, the New York City Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor announced Wednesday.

Julio Mota Plasencia, 39, was arrested in the raid, which took place just before 7 p.m. at an apartment on Henwood Place near Walton Avenue.

Police found heroin, cocaine, fentanyl and crystal meth worth about $24 million in total.

Included in the stash were 750,000 fake pills designed to look like oxycodone that were actually pressed with fentanyl, according to authorities.

There were also 80 rounds of rifle ammunition in the apartment, police said.

Plasencia reportedly tried to flee, and was found standing on the bedroom window sill near an open duffle bag filled with about 20 kilograms of narcotics.

“It appears that this apartment served as the Amazon warehouse for lethal drugs in New York City and surrounding regions,” said Special Prosecutor Bridget Brennan. “While this case is consistent with the trend towards high-level traffickers selling many different drug types, it is highly unusual to find such large amounts concentrated in one location.”

Plasencia was charged with operating as a major trafficker and is being held without bail.
