NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a South Bronx bank on Friday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 4:20 p.m. in a TD Bank at 371 East 149th Street in Melrose, according to authorities.
The thief went up to a teller and demanded money, making verbal threats about a gun. The teller complied with the demands and passed the suspect cash from the drawer, officials said.
No gun was actually displayed during the incident and no injuries were reported.
