NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Video released by the NYPD on Tuesday showed a violent fight inside a Brooklyn bodega in which a store employee was sliced by a knife wielding customer.

The incident happened around 8 a.m. on Monday inside the Moon Deli on Atlantic Avenue, in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of the borough.

Police say a customer was inside the store when he got into a verbal dispute for a 23-year-old employee, and it quickly escalated into a physical altercation.

The store employee was transported to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition.

The attacker fled the store on foot. He is described as a Black man who is bald and was last seen wearing an orange shirt, black shorts and black clogged sandals.
